Celebrating Hallowtide as a Family Webinar

7:00 PM - October 19, 2020

Zoom

Join us as we welcome three special guests sharing their experience and practical initiatives to engage our families (and especially children) in the Hallowtide and Holy Souls season.

Jayme McKinnon is a home schooling mother of 5 who will talk about creative and fun ways to engage children in the season. Tony Walters, a teacher, is going to share dynamic ideas on how to engage students in the richness of Hallowtide. Fr. Mark McGuckin will present some of the theological and pastoral aspects of this season: how to engage the current Halloween culture; the significance of the saints, of praying for holy souls, of coming face to face with our mortality and remembering that we are made for heaven.

Order a Candle

One way for you to pray this month is through lighting a candle as a way of showing solidarity with the person on whose behalf the prayer is offered. We will place a lit candle on the grave of a loved one during Hallowtide if they are interred at Gardens of Gethsemani.
