SUMMARY:Monthly Rosary Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Gardens of Gethsemani staff and community for our monthly rosary walk through Gardens as we meditate on the mysteries of the life of Jesus\, and pray for our loved ones and all those buried at Gardens. \nThe rosary walk will take place the first Thursday of every month at 10 a.m.  We will meet in front of the Holy Angels Buildings and will end back at Holy Angels with some light refreshments. There is plenty of parking in that area. \n“The Rosary is the most beautiful and rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God…and if you wish peace to reign in your homes\, recite the family Rosary.” ~ Pope Pius X \nAll are welcome! \nFor inquiries please contact Anna Loch at aloch@rccav.org or 604 531 2141 ext. 32 \nFor directions to the Holy Angels buildings: Drive through the main gate of Gardens of Gethsemani\, take a right at the roundabout\, drive up the hill and the first cluster of buildings you see on your right hand are the Holy Angels buildings.

SUMMARY:Reverently Laying to Rest Service
DESCRIPTION:Reverently Laying to Rest Service – Saturday March 5th\, 2022 \nThe Gardens of Gethsemani is offering families of the Archdiocese a no-cost service to inter cremated remains in a communal crypt. The service is meant for families with cremated remains that have been at home for more than three years\, or for families with financial difficulties. This pastoral service with internment prayers by Deacon Ken Fung is meant to help bring healing and closure for families. It provides a final resting place in a Catholic cemetery — a witness to the Catholic faith and an environment where souls are prayed for by the community. Donations to the Works of Mercy fund would be welcomed and appreciated. Arrangements are required no later than February 23rd\, 2022. Space is limited and conditions apply. To register please email Anne-Marie White at awhite@rccav.org.
