SUMMARY:Monthly Rosary Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Gardens of Gethsemani staff and community for our monthly rosary walk through Gardens as we meditate on the mysteries of the life of Jesus\, and pray for our loved ones and all those buried at Gardens. \nThe rosary walk will take place the first Thursday of every month at 10 a.m.  We will meet in front of the Holy Angels Buildings and will end back at Holy Angels with some light refreshments. There is plenty of parking in that area. \n“The Rosary is the most beautiful and rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God…and if you wish peace to reign in your homes\, recite the family Rosary.” ~ Pope Pius X \nAll are welcome! \nFor inquiries please contact Anna Loch at aloch@rccav.org or 604 531 2141 ext. 32 \nFor directions to the Holy Angels buildings: Drive through the main gate of Gardens of Gethsemani\, take a right at the roundabout\, drive up the hill and the first cluster of buildings you see on your right hand are the Holy Angels buildings.

SUMMARY:An Advent of Hope\, Comfort & Reflection For Infant & Child Loss
DESCRIPTION:The holidays can be an anticipation of joy and ‘good cheer’\, yet for those missing a loved one\, the upcoming season may also bring about a mix of emotions. You are not alone. We understand that grief is a part of the healing journey and that Advent is a sign of hope\, comfort and reflection. \nElizabeth Ministry is a peer support\, infant loss ministry. We are hosting a gathering for bereaved families and friends who have experienced the loss of a preborn infant during pregnancy at any gestational age\, as well as child loss. \nYou’re invited to join us in fellowship to build community and share stories; feel free to bring photos and/or remembrance items. We’ll talk about ways to honour the memory of our loved one during Advent and Christmas time. There will also be a guided prayer meditation led by an Elizabeth Minister. \nJoin us for light refreshments\, cookies and hot chocolate! Families will have the opportunity to get together and create a memento to celebrate the little souls gone-to-soon. There will also be a child-friendly craft and parent participation gym time for the children. \nAll welcome – parents\, family\, friends\, grandparents and children. \nFor more info. visit: ElizabethMinistryBC.ca or info@ElizabethMinistryBC.ca. RSVPs welcome\, but not required.
