Let’s support each other while we heal by receiving Christ’s love and consolation. \n“Seasons of Hope is a unique grief-support program for Catholics that focuses on the spiritual side of grieving the death of a loved one. It invites those who mourn to accompany one another and to meet Christ through scripture\, prayer\, reflection\, and simple activities that offer comfort and help to foster healing and spiritual growth.”–M. Donna MacLeod \nThese 6-week bereavement group will start on October 19th on Saturdays from 10am-12pm\, once a week until November 23rd. The group will be led by Deacon Raul Abella. Donna MacLeod \nThese 6-week bereavement group will start on April 12th on Fridays from 3-5pm\, once a week until May 17th. The group will be led by Deacon Raul Abella. We will meet at Holy Angels III building for the session and then share some light refreshments. \nAbout the Speaker – Deacon Raul Abella \nDeacon Raul was ordained as Permanent Ordained Deacon in 2015. He was the Chaplain at Surrey Memorial Hospital for 6 years\, providing spiritual guidance and assistance to the sick and terminally ill.  Deacon Raul is currently the Filipino Ministry Coordinator at the Archdiocese of Vancouver and provides ministry support at Gardens of Gethsemani. \nDon’t miss this special event created to support you and your family! SUMMARY:Monthly Rosary Walk - Way of Light
DESCRIPTION:Join Gardens of Gethsemani staff and community for our monthly rosary walk through Gardens as we meditate on the mysteries of the life of Jesus\, and pray for our loved ones and all those buried at Gardens. \nThe rosary walk will take place the first Thursday of every month at 10 a.m.  We will meet in front of the Holy Angels buildings’ parking lot and will end back at Holy Angels with some light refreshments. There is plenty of parking in that area. \n“The Rosary is the most beautiful and rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God…and if you wish peace to reign in your homes\, recite the family Rosary.” ~ Pope Pius X \nEvent runs rain or shine! All are welcome! \nFor directions to the Holy Angels buildings: Drive through the main gate of Gardens of Gethsemani\, take a right at the roundabout\, drive up the hill and the first cluster of buildings you see on your right hand are the Holy Angels buildings.
