| FreeGardens of Gethsemani is hosting A Season of Hope & Healing Mini-Retreat: A faith-filled journey through Loss During Christmas, on Saturday December 11th from 1:30-4 p. at the Holy Angels III building at Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery. This event is for adults experiencing grief for any reason: be it the loss of a loved one, a strained relationship, the loss of a job and for individuals struggling with sadness during this time.

About the facilitator
Donna Laggui Crombie is a speaker, writer, mentor and Coach. She is a mom of five, two in her arms and three in heaven, and a Parishioner at St. Nicholas Parish. This workshop is for those experiencing any kind of grief or loss, and will cover some of the ideas mentioned in her BC Catholic article, Creating meaningful traditions in midst of grief, uncertainty (2020).
Donna serves as a volunteer and a speaker through Elizabeth Ministry, offering peer-support to infant loss families. She also supports parents whose children are autistic or neurodiverse.
As a Coach and Woman School Strategist, Donna encourages women to live a life with intention – not by default, but by design. She guides clients in the areas of personal growth, wholeness and actively seeking their God-given purpose. Drawing from her background in employment and career advising, and recruitment; Donna has a heart for helping women – especially single moms who are looking for flexible, meaningful work that honours their motherhood.
