Pregnancy and Infant Loss Mass

In collaboration with Catholic Cemeteries and Elizabeth Ministry, a special Pregnancy and Infant Loss Mass will be held on Oct. 24th at 1:00pm to honour the lives of infants and children who have passed during pregnancy and birth. At this Mass, with celebrant Fr. Rich Conlin, families are invited to light a candle and place on the altar.
Join us for a rosary walk (weather permitting) to the Jesus and the Children Garden immediately after Mass. Fellowship and light refreshments to follow. Elizabeth Ministry volunteers will be at this Mass and reception to meet with bereaved families.
Elizabeth Ministry (EM) is an international movement rooted in the beliefs of the Catholic faith. In the archdiocese of Vancouver, members focus on offering peer support to bereaved families grieving the loss of young children, toddlers and infants of any age, from conception onward.
Everyone is welcome! If you, or anyone you know, has been touched by the loss of a child, you are warmly invited to attend.
